Sorrel
Mare
Rose is a gentle, fun, big-bodied girl with a steady, reliable mind and the kind of presence that makes you feel confident the minute you swing a leg over. She spent last summer on the Powderhorn as a trusted guest horse and the winter in Montana giving lessons, proving herself safe, seasoned, and dependable in a wide variety of settings with riders of different ages and abilities. She handles time off well and stays broke and gentle no matter how often she’s ridden, always coming back the same consistent mare. She has smooth, comfortable gaits with a nice trot you can sit all day and an easy, rolling lope that’s balanced and steady. She travels out willingly, covers ground with ease, and is happy to go wherever she’s pointed. On the trail, she’s confident and relaxed, sure-footed in rough country, and steady through obstacles. She enjoys getting out and seeing the countryside and will quietly take care of her rider from start to finish. Whether you’re looking for a trustworthy lesson mount, a confidence-building obstacle partner, a ranch guest horse, or the perfect trail companion, she’s the kind that shows up the same every day and truly takes care of her rider. Don’t let her slip past your notice! Ridden by Jessie Cloutier. FMI [email protected] or 307-298-5030.
