Consistent, eager to please, dependable, and easygoing is what best describes Sunny. He’s willing to do whatever I ask. With a push-button mentality, he’s an easy ride for a broad range of riders. He’s happy to plod along wherever you put him, and when asked he’ll pick up the pace to a steady, smooth jog or a dreamy rocking chair lope. He’s packed my twins in the saddle, opens and closes gates, and eases along baby calves. He keeps a level head when it’s time to deal with an ornery bull or rope a cow. When doctoring calves, he keeps your rope tight or stands ground tied while you work. His consistency transfers to the arena with smooth, correct gaits and easy maneuvers.
