Palomino
Mare
Clover is made up of a plucky and willing mentality, a sensitive nature, and being solid and at-home in the great outdoors. She is surefooted over rocks, steep terrain and water and where you point her, she goes! We have taken Clover on many miles of mountain trails in search of summer cows and I love that she is not hot or jiggy, yet does not feel sorry for herself when there is work to do. She walks with a purpose, covers country without peddling, and keeps pace with whatever I ask of her. Clover is good to ride with a group or out alone, and is honest with time off. She will pick you up at the mounting block to ride bareback or in a saddle, and swam me all the way across the pond without being pushed to do so! Clover is a great little mare to gather cattle on, is a solid trail horse, and has carried the flag and tarp. She lives in our mixed herd of mares and geldings without causing drama and is good to catch. Clover enjoys attention from her person and will be a great partner and adventure buddy for a confident-intermediate rider. We’re happy to introduce you to her further! Ridden by Hadleigh True.
