Roo

Affectionately known as Roo, this is a pretty chestnut mare with and honest and likeable personality. Roo has an easy-going disposition without being lazy and loves to get out on the ranch or trail. She is willing to tackle whatever you point her at and has comfortable gaits that make long days easy! Roo has done all the ranch chores including gathering cows, checking fence, tagging calves and pushing new pairs out to pasture from the calving pens. She has a good work ethic and isn’t easily ruffled by all the stuff that happens around here. We have also loaned her to guests for group trail rides on the ranch and she has done her job well with surefootedness and a sensible head. Roo has spent time training in the arena and can ride soft, pretty circles that will catch your notice. She is great with time off, confident riding alone and is reliable everyday! She pastures in our mixed herd of mares and geldings without issue, and is easy to like. AQHA papers pending, expected to be in-hand by sale time. Ridden by Grace Boerema.
