Mentzer

Mentzer is a happy-go-lucky fellow who is trustworthy and simple. He enjoys heading down the trail and handles himself well up and down steep ridges, water, ditches and tight spaces. He was ridden in some big groups of 40 trail riders this summer, yet is equally willing to ride out alone for some solo sight-seeing. He is the same whether he rides in the front or back of the group, or gets left behind the others. Mentzer has been completely content to ride in traffic and through the drive through, stood politely to be vacuumed off at the local carwash, and has been ridden in the Wyoming State Fair Parade! He’s level-headed to move cows or horses, and I know he’ll be where I need him to get the job done. He has a nice neck rein and will pick you up at the mounting block on cue. He is humble and solid with time off, accustomed to riding around dogs, and great with obstacles! He has a slow and steady disposition but doesn’t need to be peddled, making him a trail horse deluxe. His cute personality earns him many affectionate pats on the neck, and he is a solid sidekick for rain or shine. Ridden by Hadleigh True.
