Gus

Gus is such a reliable companion on the ranch. He has been used checking fence, tagging, calves, and tracking cows. My 10-year-old nephew rides him independently, and Gus is great! He rides in any position of the group, rides the trail obstacles, crosses creeks, navigates downed timber, and goes wherever he's directed. Gus can lope in pretty circles, soft and collected, with a good one-handed neck rein. He can sidepass to open and close gates. Gus is also trained to drive single. He's a super sweet gelding with a very gentle, easygoing personality. Gus stays well-mannered even with time off, needing no warm-up. He loads and backs out of the trailer, and stands calmly for the farrier and vet. Gus even enjoys baths and grooming. Gus is truly a gem of a horse for the whole family.
