Jinx is a good hearted, big bodied, sweet natured guy. He’s the kind of guy that you enjoy hanging out with, and the kind of guy who enjoys hanging out with you too! I like that he isn’t easily ruffled by what’s going on around him. For example, he was my pick to snub nervous colts this winter because even when they would get scared and jump on top of him, he never changed his gait or pinned his ears once, but instead lent them confidence. Slow and steady is Jinx’s motto! He is comfortable and simple to ride, with a nice trot and a lope to make you feel confident. Because he’s a big ole sweetie, he often meets me at the gate and drops his nose down low when my toddlers lead him into the barn. Meanwhile, my husband and I have roped calves, gathered cows and ponied horses off him, and he’s strong enough for any job and steady enough to not always need one. Besides… being incredibly handsome and having a great butt never hurt anything either! Ridden by the Gutenberger Family.
