Phoenix is my absolute favorite horse to go to work on. This horse has a big motor and wants to travel! I roped off of Phoenix at our branding at Sage Creek not long after we were cut horses, and he was a pro. Tons of fun to be on roping calves out of a branding pen! I took him to several ranch rodeos and he was great. I sorted a lot of cattle in the ally off of him and let’s just say they didn't get him beat too often! He has a nice handle on him and is tough as nails! Phoenix is a great working partner but is not for beginners or intermediate riders. Ridden by Ellie Burgett.
