He is as easy to love as he is to look at. When I chose Jhett for my sale horse this year, it was truly based on his compatibility. This horse has the ability to match your emotional desires for the day. He is quiet and gentle, steady and solid and absolutely gorgeous. I have loved gathering cows on Jhett; he moves out well without giving you the feeling of having to hold him back. I have found him a willing student in every training session who simply does not know the word mad. Ken has used him in the branding pen to drag calves to the fire, and Kurt and Trent have both ridden and loved him. Every roper in the country tries to steal him from me- he is just that kind of horse. I have had his feet completely tangled in ropes and he doesn’t care. This horse is really cowy and loves to work. In the tradition of Dale Evans’ great Buttermilk horse, Jhett is dependable anywhere you take him. I have always found him a willing partner and an absolutely great horse to explore the countryside with. Ridden by Dee Dee McNabb. Weight: 1100 |
